VCT Masters Reykjavík: Format and Prize Pool Revealed

RIOT Games have published a detailed rulebook for their upcoming offlane VALORANT event VCT Masters Reykjavík, which revealed the tournament’s format and prize pool.

The event will follow a double-elimination bracket – all regular matches will be best-of-three, while the grand finals will be best-of-five. The matches will be played on all maps except for Breeze. Fnatic, KRU Esports, Version1 and Crazy Racoon have been seeded to start the event in the first round, while Sentinels, Vikings, X10, Liquid, Sharks and NUTURN will begin from the second round. The event will begin right after the conclusion of the League of Legends tournament MSI 2021 – it is scheduled for May 24th – 30th. The tournament’s prize pool is set at $600,000.
