VCT Masters Berlin: Gambit Defeat Envy in the Grand Finals

VALORANT Masters Berlin has concluded with Gambit Esports defeating Team Envy in the tournament’s grand finals. Besides claiming $225,000 in prize money, the winners also qualified for VALORANT Champions 2021.

Gambit, who this year have been the strongest team in the CIS region, started the event in Group C, where they placed second after losing only to 100 Thieves. Later in the playoffs they defeated Vision Strikers (2-1) and G2 Esports (2-0). In the final series they managed to win three maps in a row – Gambit defeated Envy on Bind (15:13), Haven (13:11) and Split (13:9).

Thanks to this victory, Gambit Esports have become the 12th participant of VALORANT Champions 2021 – currently the line-up also features Sentinels, Team Envy, KRU Esports, Team Vikings, Keyd Stars, Acend, Fnatic, Vision Strikers, Crazy Raccoon, X10 Esports, and Team Secret, all of whom managed to acquire enough circuit points throughout the year. The final four participants will be determined through the Last Chance qualifiers in four regions, which will be played in the first half of October.
