Team Aster Members Test Negative for COVID-19

Tiffani 'Oling' Lim from the International Esports Federation (IESF) has revealed that all members of Team Aster have been tested negative for COVID-19. If they will test negative tomorrow morning, the team will be allowed to participate in the playoffs stage of The International 10 in the arena with the rest of the teams.

Earlier all members of Team Aster tested positive for COVID-19. In response to this, VALVE allowed them to participate in TI10 matches via Internet from their isolated hotel rooms. While most of the players were either asymptomatic or mildly sick, the team’s midlaner Liu "White Album" Yuhao felt unwell and thus missed the tournament’s group stage. According to Oiling, he begins to feel better and is regaining his appetite.

Team Aster started the event in Group A, where they played with their assistant Chen "86" Yuxuan replacing White Album. There they placed 7th with a 2-1-5 score. Now they will compete in Lower Bracket – in their first match, which is scheduled for October 12, 2:30 PM, the team will face Quincy Crew. The series will be best-of-one, the loser will be eliminated from the event.
