Shakezullah Becomes New Leader of Bad News Bears
The North American team Bad News Bears has changes its roster. The team decided to bench Nick "alter" Jackson and to acquire Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman. The team’s newest member will be its new in-game leader.
Shakezullah is a 23-years-old player, whose previous team was Triumph. Representing the team for the last year and a half, he managed to lead the team to a victory at ESEA 33: Premier Division NA Finals, as well as the 2nd places at IEM Beijing Online NA and ESEA 36: Premier Division NA. Last week he stood in for Bad News Bears at ESEA Cash CUP, where the team lost to GODSENT in the grand finals. Earlier in his career Shakezullah also played for Team Singularity and coached Chaos EC.
Current BNB roster was formed this January and included Peter "ptr" Gurney, Jonathan "Jonji" Carey, Michael "Swisher" Schmid, Gabe "Spongey" Greiner and Nick "alter" Jackson. The team managed to win three ESEA Cash Cup events, as well as emerged victorious at ESEA Season 36: Premier Division NA. These victories allowed them to receive an invite to the Play-In stage of IEM Cologne. Besides that, the team qualified for cs_summit 8, where they placed 7th – 8th.
