Sentinels Defeat Fnatic to Win VCT 2021 Masters Reykjavik
The first major VALORANT LAN-event – VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters – Reykjavik – has concluded with the victory of an American team Sentinals. In the event’s grand finals they managed to defeat a European squad Fnatic with a 3-0 score and claimed $200,000 in prize money. During this match the VALORANT section of Twitch exceeded 1,000,000 viewers.
Sentinels, which consists mainly of former CS:GO players, managed to finish the event without losing a single map – the American team defeated Fnatic (2-0), Team Vikings (2-0) and NUTURN Gaming (2-0) in the upper bracket. In the grand finals they won at Split (14:12), Bind (16:14) and Haven (13:11).

VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 2 Masters – Reykjavik was played on May 24th – 30th in Reykjavík, Iceland. The event featured 10 teams from all over the world competing in a double-elimination bracket. The tournament’s prize pool was set at $600,000.
