Saksa Reaches First Place in the European MMR Leaderboards
26-years-old support player Martin "Saksa" Sazdov, who earlier represented OG, has become the leader of the European MMR leaderboard. He is now ahead of Virtus.pro’s 17-years-old carry Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko and 24-years-old midlaner Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko, who currently represents NAVI.
North Macedonian player Saksa has been on the professional scene since 2014 and is known as a member of Digital Chaos in 2016 – 2017 and Ninjas in Pyjamas in 2018 – 2019. His most team was OG, which he left last November – with them, he managed to qualify for The International 2021, where the team placed 7-8th.
While OG’s announcement suggested that Saksa and SumaiL wanted to “pursue possibilities outside of OG following their run at the TI, later the player said that he did not want to leave the team. Later OG formed a completely new roster, with all of the previous members either leaving the organization, taking a break or ending their careers.
