PGL Stockholm Major: Heroic Bounce Back to Advance to New Legends Stage

Despite being ranked as one of the strongest team of the world, Heroic have had a hard time making it through the New Challengers stage of PGL Stockholm Major 2021. However, the team managed to outplay Movistar Riders in the stage’s final round, thus finishing the stage with a 3-2 match score and advancing to the New Legends stage.

Heroic started the event with two victories – first, they outplayed TyLoo (16:12), and then managed to defeat MOUZ (16:11). Later, however, they lost two bo3 series in a row – to Copenhagen Flames (1-2) and Entropiq (1-2), which resulted in them being one step away from the elimination. In the deciding match however they managed to outplay Movistar Riders at both Inferno (16:7) and Overpass (16:14), eliminating the Spanish team and leaving them without any prize money.

The final two teams to become the major’s “legends” will be determined later today, as BIG will face mouz, and Spirit will take on Astralis.
