NAVI and Entropiq to Miss IEM XVII Dallas

ESL have announced that two teams – the partnered team Natus Vincere and the winner of the European qualifier Entropiq – will not be able to participate in the upcoming IEM XVII Dallas due to visa issues.

To replace them, the organizers appealed to the ESL World Rating. First, they invited Copenhagen Flames, who are currently ranked #9, but they were unable to accept. Thus, the teams will be replaced by BIG (#12) and Movistar Riders (#17).

On top of that, ESL have revealed the seeds for the event’s opening matches, they are following:

• Group A: FaZe vs LFO, Astralis vs Vitality, G2 vs Movistar, MOUZ vs ENCE
• Group B: FURIA vs Imperial, Liquid vs Cloud9, NIP vs BIG, Heroic vs Complexity

Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas is scheduled for May 30th – June 6th and will have $250,000 up for grabs. The group stage will feature a GSL format, while the playoffs will follow a single-elimination system. The winner will claim $100,000 in prize money.
