Liquid’s Jensen Might not Compete Next Year
Team Liquid’s midlaner Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen revealed during his Twitch stream that he might not compete on the professional level next year. He also noted that nothing is set in stone yet and that he is not going to retire.
26-years-old Danish player Jensen joined Team Liquid in 2018 after his 3-years long tenure with Cloud9. During this time Liquid managed to win two LCS splits in 2019 and place 9-12th at World Championships in both 2019 and 2020 years.
This year the team showed great results in LCS, as they managed to win the Lock-In event and became the runner-ups of both the Spring and Summer splits. At Worlds 2021, however, failed to make it out of the group following 4-way tiebreakers. Thus, the team placed 12-13th at the event and claimed $53,000 in prize money.
