Invited Teams for DreamHack Open 45 Revealed

The organizers of DreamHack Open 45 have revealed eight teams that received direct invites to the event. The final four participants will be determined through closed qualifiers scheduled for June 17th – 20th.

The event will be split into two divisions – North America and Asia. Among teams invited to the American region are Extra Salt, GODSENT, O Plano, paiN Gaming, Party Astronauts and RBG Esports. Meanwhile D13 and Lynn Vision Gaming received invites to the Asian division.

Both divisions will be played on June 29th – July 3rd. The American division with $70,000 at stake will be split into a GSL group stage and a single-elimination playoff, while the Asian teams will compete for $30,000 in a double-elimination bracket. Besides that, the champion of the Asian region will advance to IEM XVI – Fall, while the best American team will compete in a Play-In stage with the winner of the next DreamHack event.
