IG to Play TI10’s Main Event from the Arena

Invictus Gaming have announced that all their players and staff members have been tested negative for COVID-19 twice. As a result, the team has been allowed by PGL and VALVE to participate in the Main Stage of The International 10 from the tournament’s venue, Arena Nationala in Bucharest.

Prior to TI10’s Group Stage, IG announced that their offlaner Thiay "JT-" Jun Wen tested positive for the coronavirus. Later VALVE allowed sick players to participate in the event remotely, from their isolation in hotel rooms.

IG have started the competition in Group A, managing to place first there with a 6-2-0 score. They will begin the playoffs stage later today in the Upper Bracket. In their first series, which is scheduled for 8:30 AM UK time, they will face Team Spirit.

Earlier we reported that all Team Aster members also tested negative for COVID-19 and are likely to be allowed to the arena.
