Iceberg Will no Longer Play for Team Empire
It has been less than a month since Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko joined Team Empire, but the player has already decided to leave the team. He believes that this roster is not capable of winning serious tournaments, so instead he will take some time to rest, spend his time with family and continue streaming, while waiting for new opportunities.
24-years-old former NAVI player Iceberg joined Empire in the middle of the DPC season, when the team already lost their first two matches to Gambit Esports (0-2) and Natus Vincere (1-2). With Iceberg, the team continued its losing streak, as they were defeated by PuckChamp (1-2) and Team Spirit (0-2).
Last week the team played against Virtus.pro without Iceberg, who reportedly was ill. He was replaced by a Belarusian player Yahor "Ergon" Kazlou. The team lost with a 0-2 score. It remains unknown whether the team will continue playing with Ergon.
