FURIA’s Honda to Miss ESL Pro League 14
FURIA Esports have announced that their player Lucas "honda" Honda will not participate in ESL Pro League 14. The player’s mother was tested positive for COVID-19, and although the organization tried to help him to get to Europe, he decided to stay home with his mother.
Today FURIA will debut at EPL 14 within the final group of the event. The team will play with their coach 31-years-old coach Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira, whose previous official match as a player in 2019.
Besides FURIA, Group D also features Entropiq, Gambit, NiP, Liquid and oNe. In their first series, which is scheduled for today, 3:45 PM UK time, the Brazilian squad will face a Russian team Entropiq.
Earlier in August FURIA demoted honda to their academy roster after an eight-month stint with the main roster, while promoting André drop Abreu. However, the team was unable to register their new roster in time for EPL 14.
