FunPlus Phoenix Sign Emi to Complete the Roster
After a few months playing with stand-ins, FunPlus Phoenix have finally completed their CS:GO roster by signing Luka "emi" Vuković to become the team’s in-game leader.
27-years-old Serbian player Emi returns to competitive scene after a four-months period of inactivity – earlier in late 2020 he stood in for the team at BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 Showdown and DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: Europe, where they placed 9th – 16th and 3rd – 4th respectively. Earlier he represented c0ntact Gaming (2020) and CR4ZY (2019).
FPX signed their current CS:GO roster in January from GODSENT. Since then the roster has been lacking an in-game leader – the team tried out Chris "chrisJ" de Jong and Miikka "suNny" Kemppi, however none of the players joined the team permanently.
FPX are expected to compete in the third season of FLASHPOINT League, which is scheduled for May 10th – 30th.
