<h1>Team Ace Are the Winners of VPL World Invitational</h1>
<p>The biggest <b>Vainglory</b> event of 2018 has concluded. In the grand finals of <b>VPL World Invitational</b> <b>Team Ace</b> defeated <b>Qlash</b> 2-0, claiming $15,000 in prize money.</p>
<p>The event was held on December 16th – 17th at OGN Super Arena in Manhattan Beach. It featured four invited teams – <b>QLASH</b>, <b>Team Ace</b>, <b>TRIBE</b>, and <b>Nova</b> – competing in a double-elimination bracket with all matches being best-of-three. <b>Team Ace</b> managed to win the even without losing a single map – to secure the championship title, the team defeated <b>Tribe</b> in first round of the upper bracket and outplayed <b>QLASH</b> twice – in the winners’ finals and in the grand finals.</p>

<h1>Vainglory Preseason: Six European and Eight North American Teams</h1>
<p> The competitive scene of one of the most successful MOBAs on mobile devices <b>Vainglory</b> has underwent radical changes: earlier the teams used to consist of 3 players, as the main mode of the game was 3v3. Everything changed after the developers finally presented the long-awaited 5v5 mode. As a result, each organization had to find at least two additional players or even compose a completely new roster.</p>
<p>The first ever Vainglory 5V5 competitive season will begin with Preseason in North America and Europe. The developers have invited six teams to the European competition, while in North America there will be eight teams. The list of participants looks as follows:</p>

<p>The competition in both regions will begin on April 14th and will continue until May 13th with 3 matches being played per day on Saturdays and Sundays, making it five weeks of constant action. The teams will compete in a round-robin format, facing each other twice in best-of-one series. The Preseason won’t affect the season in general, which will begin only in June.</p>

<h1>Vainglory World Championship Results and Reveal of 5v5 Mode</h1>
<p>The main event of the competitive <b>Vainglory</b> scene has concluded with a victory of a North American team <b>Tribe</b> over <b>ACE Gaming</b> from South Korea.</p>
<p><b>Vainglory World Championship 2017</b> was held on December 14-17 at Kallang Theatre in Singapore. The tournament’s line-up featured 12 best teams all across the world, they competed for their share of a $140,000 prize pool. The teams were seeded into four groups of three with a round-robin format and two-game series, the best two teams from each group advanced to the playoff.</p>

<p>In the playoffs the teams faced each other in a single-elimination bracket with best-of-five regular matches and best-of-seven grand finals. On their way to the grand finals <b>Tribe</b> defeated <b>G2 Esports</b> (3-0) and <b>Cloud9</b> (3-1). In the final series of the tournament they faced South Koreans from <b>ACE Gaming</b>, who previously defeated <b>paIN Gaming</b> (3-2) and <b>Impunity</b> (3-1). The grand finals ended with the 3-1 score in favour of <b>Tribe</b>, granting them the championship title.</p>

On the other hand, the game sacrificed strategic depth common to other MOBAs – only one lane and 3 characters greatly limited variety of possible game scenarios.</p>

The experience should be much more typical for MOBA players – there will be 3 lanes and 5 heroes on each side of the conflict.
