Br0 and ruggah Join Astralis

Astralis has announced the completion of their roster for Counter-Strike 2, welcoming a new fifth player and coach to fill the positions previously vacated by blameF and R0nic.

The transfer of br0 comes from Monte, where the Dane had played since July 2023. During his time with the team, he notably won the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023 and secured a 3rd-4th place finish at ESL Pro League Season 18. Prior to his stint with Monte, br0 played for Astralis Talent for 8 months.

The team's new coach is ruggah, who has spent the last four years working with OG.

The announcement from Astralis also highlights that dev1ce will take over as the team's in-game leader, a role previously held by blameF.

Consequently, Astralis's current lineup is as follows: dev1ce, Staehr, stavn, jabbi, and br0. The team's first tournament with this updated roster will be the Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024, starting on April 8th.
