ESL have announced that they are unable to host ESL Pro League Season 14 in Malta as it was originally planned. The organizers explained it by an uncertainty in travel restrictions due to an increase of COVID-19 cases across Europe.

Just as the previous season, this time ESL Pro League will be played online with all participating teams competing from their homes or bootcamps. The tournament’s format remains unchanged with all teams competing together in the same division.

EPL 14 will be played from July 16th to August 12th and feature a $750,000 prize pool. Currently the line-up includes twelve partnered teams, among which are Astralis, Complexity, ENCE, EG, FaZe, Fnatic, G2, mouz, NAVI, Liquid and Vitality, as well as the winners of the previous two seasons of ESEA regional divisions – Entropiq and Sinners from Europe, BNB and One from North America, and Renegades from Oceania. Another seven participants remain unknown.
