ESL One Stockholm Line-up Finalized

With the delayed conclusion of the Eastern European Dota Pro Circuit, the line-up for the upcoming ESL One Stockholm 2022 has been finally completed. The final participant of the event are Mind Games, who qualified for the major on a third try – after losing to BB Team (0-2) in the upper bracket final and to Team Spirit (0-2) in the lower final, they managed to beat CIS Rejects (2-1) in the third slot decider.

Since the Chinese teams won’t be able to travel to Sweden to participate in the major and instead will compete in the regional finals, the number of participating teams has been reduced from 18 to 14. The line-up consists of:

• Western Europe: OG, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid, Tundra Esports
• Southeast Asia: Fnatic, BOOM Esports, T1
• North America: Evil Geniuses, TSM
• South America: Thunder Awaken, beastcoast
• Eastern Europe: BB Team, Team Spirit, Mind Games

ESL One Stockholm 2022 begins already next week, May 12th. The event will be played at Stockholm’s Hovet Arena, a venue with an 8,000 capacity. The competition will start with two round-robin groups and conclude with a double-elimination playoffs bracket. The best-of-five grand finale will be played on May 22nd, its winner will claim $200,000 out of the $500,000 prize pool.
