ENCE among First to Qualify for IEM XVI Fall: Europe
First four teams have made it to IEM XVI Fall: Europe through the closed qualifier –Movistar Riders, Sinners Esports, Endpoint and ENCE won their first matches of the qualifier, thus making it to the main event. While most of the results were expected, one was not – Sinners managed to upset Fnatic with a 2-1 score, eliminating them to the lower bracket.

The rest of the upper bracket matches will be played later today – the games between FaZe Clan with OPAA and CPH and Fiend are scheduled for 4:30 PM UK time, while the matches between SKADE with Anonymo and MAD Lions with Dignitas will begin on 7:45 PM. The losers of these matches will still have a chance to qualify for the event if they win their series in the lower bracket.
Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Fall: Europe is a LAN-event with $105,000 at stake that will be played in a studio from September 29th to October 10th. The tournament’s line-up will include 24 teams. Besides the qualified teams, it already includes Heroic, G2, mouz, NiP, Vitality, Astralis, BIG, FPX, DP, Complexity, Sprout, and OG.
