DPC WEU Tour 1: Liquid and Tickles Are Leaders, Four Teams in Tiebreakers
The first tour of Dota Pro Circuit for Western Europe has concluded. Team Liquid and Team Tickles have showed the best results in the league, finishing with 6-1 and 5-2 scores respectively. Thus, they claimed $30,000 and $28,000 in prize money, as well as 300 and 180 DPC points respectively.
Meanwhile, four other teams – Nigma Galaxy, OG, Team Secret and Tundra Esports – finished with the same 4-3 score and will play in the 3rd-6th place tiebreakers. The schedule has not been published yet; the team are expected to play best-of-one series. Since earlier last week VALVE cancelled the Winter Major, the tiebreakers will determine just how much prize money and DPC points the teams will get.
DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1: Division 1 by DreamLeague was played from November 30th to January 19th, featuring eight teams competing in a single round-robin group. Two bottom teams – Alliance (1-6) and Coolguys (0-7) – have been relegated to the second division.
