Dev1ce Denies Rumours of Leaving Ninjas in Pyjamas
Ninjas in Pyjamas’s member Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz has announced through Twitter that he has no plans of leaving the team, despite the widespread rumours of his possible return to Astralis. The player explained that he is taking a break to address his mental health issues and aims to get back to competitions by the start of the next year.
1/5: Hey guys, 2021 has been a tough year for so many people, myself included. Today there is new speculation as to the reason why I’m currently taking time out: I shouldn’t have to, but as it’s proving unfair on my team mates, I thought it best to offer an explanation...

NiP have been playing without dev1ce since the playoffs stage of IEM Winter 2021 – during this time, the team competed with 19-years-old member of Young Ninjas, Love "phzy" Smidebrant. Without dev1ce, the team finished 2nd at IEM Winter and finished last at BLAST Premier: World Final 2021.
Next event for NiP is IEM XVI – Katowice, a $1,000,000 event that will be held in Poland on February 15th – 27th. Later in March the team will also compete in the 15th season of ESL Pro League.
