BLAST Spring Showdown: FURIA Eliminated MIBR

BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2021 kicks into high gear – during the tournament’s second day another three teams have been eliminated, sharing the last place with the earlier eliminated teams Astralis, Team Liquid and Endpoint.

Just like in the first day, yesterday all matches concluded with a 2-0 score. First, the CIS Team Spirit managed to outplay former Cloud9 players, who currently compete under the Extra Salt name. Then the current leaders of the hltv rating, Gambit Esports, defeated the winners of the Middle East qualifier, NASR Esports. The final series of the day featured a derby between two Brazilian teams, with FURIA managing to beat MIBR.

Today we will witness the final two series of the Round of 16 – first, SAW will face Heroic (2:30 PM UK time), and then Team Vitality will take on 9z Team (5:30 PM).

BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2021 will conclude on April 18th – the best two teams of the event get $30,000 each, but most importantly will qualify for the league’s seasonal finals.
