Alliance Reveal their New Dota 2 Roster
Alliance have revealed their updated roster for the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit. Long gone are the days when Alliance was mainly a Swedish team – now all six members of the organization’s new roster come from different countries.
The only remaining players from the previous roster are a Bulgarian carry player Nikolay "Nikobaby" Nikolov and a Swedish full-support and captain Simon "Handsken" Rasmus Haag. Both of them have been representing the club since late 2019.
On middle lane, the team will now have a 21-years-old Czech player Ondřej "Supream^" Štarha, who earlier this year played for Chicken Fighters and High Coast Esports. The team’s new offlaner is a 24-years-old Brazilian player Rodrigo "Leslão" Santos, earlier of Quincy Crew. The final player of the line-up is a 21-years-old Israeli support Adam "Aramis" Moroz, who spent the previous year and a half in Vikin.gg. On top of that, the organization signed a 29-years-old Finnish coach Niklas "okcya" Koskinen, who earlier worked with Chicken Fighters.
This year Alliance were one of the leaders of the European region, placing 2nd in the first DPC season and winning the second one. On the majors, however, the team placed 13th in Singapore and 9 – 12th in Ukraine. At The International 10, the team repeated their lacklustre results and finished 9 – 12th.
Following their run at TI10, Alliance parted ways with Linus "Limmp" Blomdin, Artsiom "fng" Barshak and Gustav "s4" Magnusson, as well as with their manager Maria "Inverno" Gunina.
