23-years-old Kjaerbye Ends his CS:GO Player Career

Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye, a 23-years-old CS:GO player from Denmark, announced his retirement. While nothing seems to be decided at the moment, he does not eliminate the possibility of remaining involved with the game in a different role.

Being on the professional scene since 2014, Kjaerbye is well known for his two-years tenure with Astralis (2016 – 2018), with whom he won ELEAGUE Major: Atlanta 2017 and a number of other premier events. Later in his career he also played for North (2018 – 2020) and FaZe Clan (2020 – 2021), while most recently he played for a Danish mix HYENAS.

Yesterday we reported that a 27-years-old French player Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt decided to end his CS:GO career and switched to VALORANT.
